The camera can change a room simply by arriving in it. My job is to make that change as gentle as possible.

I spend more time listening than directing. I learn the rhythm of the people in front of me, notice where the light settles, and wait for gesture to become meaning.

Direction still matters, but the best direction creates permission. After that, a story can breathe on its own.
