Films & motion agreement · FILM-2026.1

Clear terms.
Films specific.

The moving image, clearly produced. These terms define recording access, audio and music rights, editorial rounds, runtime, and delivery.

01

Project scope

The project proposal defines the date, locations, hours, collaborators, deliverables, expenses, and license. Work outside that written scope is discussed and quoted before it is added.

02

Reservation & payment

A date is reserved only after the signed agreement and proposal retainer are received. The proposal sets the payment schedule; overdue balances may pause production or delivery.

03

Creative authorship

The client is commissioning Ishrar’s documented visual approach and professional judgment. Capture, selection, sequencing, color, sound, and final finishing remain creative decisions made within the approved brief.

04

Delivery & safekeeping

The proposal gives an estimated delivery window and gallery term. The client must download and back up final files. Raw, unedited, rejected, or project-source files are not included unless explicitly listed.

05

Recording permissions

The client secures venue and participant permission for video and audio recording, including interviews, presentations, performances, and private conversations intended for use.

06

Music & third-party media

Only properly licensed music and supplied media may appear in the final film. Platform takedowns or claims caused by client-requested unlicensed material remain the client’s responsibility.

07

Edit, revisions & masters

The proposal defines runtime, aspect ratios, review rounds, captions, and delivery masters. Project files, raw footage, and alternate edits are excluded unless specifically listed.

08

Changes, cancellation & the unexpected

The proposal sets the project-specific rescheduling, cancellation, weather, illness, venue, force-majeure, and liability terms. Everyone will act in good faith, and work may stop where people, equipment, law, or creative integrity face unreasonable risk.

09

Electronic execution & mutual acceptance

Each party may sign this agreement electronically. The customer signature records acceptance of the service-specific terms and the studio signature records acceptance of the same confirmed scope. When both signatures are present, this electronic record is intended to bind both parties to the confirmed booking, subject to applicable law.
