Personal portraits agreement · PORTRAIT-2026.1

Clear terms.
Portraits specific.

A portrait made with agency. These terms center consent, respectful direction, privacy, retouching, and personal use.

01

Project scope

The project proposal defines the date, locations, hours, collaborators, deliverables, expenses, and license. Work outside that written scope is discussed and quoted before it is added.

02

Reservation & payment

A date is reserved only after the signed agreement and proposal retainer are received. The proposal sets the payment schedule; overdue balances may pause production or delivery.

03

Creative authorship

The client is commissioning Ishrar’s documented visual approach and professional judgment. Capture, selection, sequencing, color, sound, and final finishing remain creative decisions made within the approved brief.

04

Delivery & safekeeping

The proposal gives an estimated delivery window and gallery term. The client must download and back up final files. Raw, unedited, rejected, or project-source files are not included unless explicitly listed.

05

Consent during the session

The client may decline a pose, setting, styling choice, or direction at any time. Comfort and dignity take priority over any planned frame.

06

Retouching boundaries

Standard finishing covers color, tone, and temporary distractions. Body reshaping or identity-altering edits are never assumed and require explicit written direction.

07

Personal-use license

Delivered portraits include personal display and social-sharing rights unless a commercial or professional-use license is listed in the proposal.

08

Changes, cancellation & the unexpected

The proposal sets the project-specific rescheduling, cancellation, weather, illness, venue, force-majeure, and liability terms. Everyone will act in good faith, and work may stop where people, equipment, law, or creative integrity face unreasonable risk.

09

Electronic execution & mutual acceptance

Each party may sign this agreement electronically. The customer signature records acceptance of the service-specific terms and the studio signature records acceptance of the same confirmed scope. When both signatures are present, this electronic record is intended to bind both parties to the confirmed booking, subject to applicable law.
